Manchester University provides prospective students with renewable scholarships and fellowships. We feel that you have worked hard to obtain your college admission and deserve financial aid as you pursue your degree.
We begin with academic scholarships, reviewing each admitted student’s application by hand. Academic scholarships are awarded based on the unweighted cumulative high school GPA.
Academic Scholarships
FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS
Director’s Award: $12,000 (GPA less than 3.0).
Founders’ Scholarship – $15,000 (GPA 3.0–3.24)
Faculty Scholarship – $17,000 (GPA 3.25–3.49)
Dean’s Scholarship – $20,000 (GPA 3.5–3.89)
Presidential Scholarship: $22,000 (GPA 3.9+)
Honors Scholarship – Includes tuition, housing and board, and fees (eligibility requirements)
Transfer students
Director’s Award: $12,000 (GPA 2.0–2.49)
Founders’ Scholarship – $15,000 (GPA 2.5–2.99)
Faculty Scholarship – $17,000 (GPA 3.00–3.24)
Dean’s Scholarship – $20,000 (GPA 3.25–3.49)
Presidential Scholarship: $22,000 (GPA 3.5+)
The Indiana Tuition Bridge Program

Other Awards
Multicultural Excellence in Leadership Scholarship – includes tuition, fees, and room and board.
Admitted students can access the scholarship application through their own Manchester website. Each year, one scholarship is offered, and it is renewable for four years.
Qualifications:
Be an incoming first-year undergraduate student.
Identify as a racial or ethnic minority.
Have been admitted to Manchester University.
Have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above on the 4.0 scale.
Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident.
Multicultural Student Leadership Awards ($2,000)
Awarded to the next five candidates for the Multicultural Excellence in Leadership Scholarship. Awards are valid annually for up to four years.
Connections Award: $1,000.
Awarded to students who belong to the Church of the Brethren or have a family member who attended Manchester.
Esports Scholarship: Up to $3,000
Awarded to Manchester University’s Esports team members.
Music Scholarship: Up to $3,000
Awarded to students who engage in Manchester University’s music signature.
MU Grant (Need-Based Aid)
Manchester aid is granted to students according on their financial need (reported by the FAFSA).
Matching Programs
Dollars for Scholars Match—up to $500 every year
Matching program for students who receive a Dollars for Scholars scholarship.
Church Scholarship Match: up to $500 every year.
Matching program for students who receive church scholarships.
Visit Incentive: $500/year
